Please note that check-in is at 2:00pm, and check-out is at 11:00am; please schedule your transportation from Panama City to Isla Colon or the marina of Chiriqui Grande considering the room check-in and check-out times. You can request a late check-out for an additional fee; but late check-outs are subject to our availability, and transportation costs will be higher for late check-outs. To be picked up and/or dropped of at the marina of Chiriqui Grande we will have to schedule a private boat, so transportation costs will be higher.

How to get here

Panama City > Isla Colon (BY PLANE)

Air Panama offers daily flights from the “Marcos A. Gelabert” International Airport located in Albrook (Panama City) to Isla Colon in Bocas del Toro. Air Panama is the only airline that flights to Bocas del Toro. Flights last about 50 minutes and round trip fare is generally around $200.

From Isla Colon to Urraca:

The cost of transportation is not included and will vary depending on how many people are coming on the boat on that day. You will be transported to Urraca by a very punctual & responsible boat captain, who will pick you up at the Restaurant “El Pirata” located in Calle 3ra, Isla Colon. Pick-up time: the boat departs from the restaurant El Pirata at 1:00pm. If you’d like to be picked up after 1:00pm there will be an extra fee set by the captain, and we must be notified in advance. After check-out, the boat will depart from Urraca between 11:00am and 11:15am, so plan on arriving back at Isla Colon around noon (12:00pm approximately).

Panama City > David > Urraca (BY PLANE)

Copa Airlines offers daily flights to the city of David, this is a good alternative if you’d like to spend a few days in Boquete before heading our way. From David or Boquete you will need to take a taxi (we can get you in touch with the taxi we use) to the marina of Chiriqui Grande (1.5 hrs.) and our trusted captain will be waiting for you there and bring you to Urraca.
